Challenging Yet Fun

This year I wanted to have a fun New Year's resolution. I have done the normal resolutions in the past - saving money, losing weight, keeping the house clean, etc. But I alway tend to fail. This year I thought I'd set some that were challenging yet fun.

I love to cook and bake, but there are certain foods that seem hard to make and even a little scary. So I decided to tackle 12 of those foods this year. One a month. In January, I took on pasta. It ended up being a lot easier than I thought until I broke the fettucine maker. But the pasta turned out great and I will be making more in the future. My sister, Lucy, wants me to try ravioli. You can read about my adventures in pasta making here.

For February, I will be making mozzarella. I think need to get started early this month. I waited until the end of the month with the pasta. I'm afraid mozzarella is going to be harder and I may need time to try again.
I haven't decided what I'm going to make for March. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Or does anyone have any tips for me for making mozzarella?
